Data You Give Us Directly
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the result; this site's own servers do not retain a copy of the search. If you contact us, the message contains only the information you decide to provide, and it is used to respond.
Data We Gather Automatically
Hosting may keep routine server-log details such as an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. These details are reviewed in aggregate to maintain the service and understand which Anaheim directory pages are used. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
The purposes are narrow: operate the reference pages, troubleshoot faults, measure traffic, and improve the service. Visitor lists are not sold, and individual user profiles are not built from this information.
Links to Other Websites
Links may take you to the Anaheim City Clerk records portal, Orange County records services, court searches, the Anaheim Heritage Center, archives, or third-party search tools. The destination's privacy policy governs what you submit there, not this policy. The sponsored search results are supplied by a third party and follow that provider's practices.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and other service providers may process the server-log information needed to run the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Information is disclosed when valid legal process requires it, and not for unrelated purposes.
How We Protect Your Data
The connection is encrypted, and logs are retained only for as long as the purposes above require. Because there are no user accounts, this service does not hold a password or account profile for someone to expose.
Users Under 18
Anaheim Residents Directory is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if a minor may have sent information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Data Rights
Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information a website keeps about you. California's consumer privacy rights are set out in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Civil Code §1798.100 et seq.; the related data-broker and Delete Act provisions are in Civil Code §1798.99.80 et seq. Because this service keeps very little, a request usually means searching the contact mailbox and relevant server logs, then removing information found there. Use the Contact page to ask.
For information held by registered data brokers, California's DROP service began on January 1, 2026 and lets a California resident send one free delete or do-not-sell request to more than 600 registered brokers. Brokers began processing DROP requests on August 1, 2026, must delete within 90 days, and repeat processing every 45 days. A California Identity Gateway account is not required, and Login.gov verification is optional. Public records held by Anaheim, Orange County, or California offices remain under the custodian's control.
Some people may qualify for California Safe at Home under Government Code §6205 et seq., which provides a substitute address accepted by state, county, and city agencies and confidential voting. Requests about those protected records belong with the Secretary of State program or the record custodian, not with this directory.
Updates to This Policy
Changes will be posted here when this policy is revised. Continued use of the service after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms.
